If you are creative there is a web site that you can make things for people!! etsy.com (or your local boutique) I go to Hobby Lobby, get silk flowers, aligator clips, and a hot glue gun... TADA fashionable flower clips like you would find in a boutique!!

I took in one family for day care. I didn't have to be licensed that way and I had more flexability working with only one family. It enabled me to stay home, yet still make a little extra money. Plus even though I was not lisenced I could write off certain things on my taxes because I was running a business in my house. It's technically a business, but didn't take the time or finances of a business. Check to see how many kids you can care for in your area without a license.
