does anyone have an easy recipe for play dough. i made some from a web site last night and it was fine. i put in an airtight container and went to use it today and it was all gooey. anyone have a good recipe. prefer with out the cream of tater. i dont mind the salt and flour and stuff. i have a 3 1/2yr old and 1yr old that would play with it so it has to be safe.

can you add coloring to the peanut butter playdough katherine. just wondering cause my son wants different colors.

Ooo oooo!!! Google edible play dough!! I have an awesome recipe somewhere and it consists mostly of peanut butter :-) it's great!! They can play with it, roll it out, cookie cut it and then eat it!! :-) soo much fun. I recommend putting down wax paper all over their work surface.

2 1/2 c. flour
2 pkg kool-aid
1/2 c. salt
2 c. boiling water
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Mix flour, kool-aid, and salt. Add boiling water to dry ingredients, then add oil. mix until cool enough to knead. Knead (adding extra flour as needed) until no longer sticky. Keeps really well, and smells really good too!

Peanut butter playdough is yummy........not that I know.

2 cups flour
1 cup salt
1 cup water
2 Tablespoons Alum
2 Tablespoons oil
Mix well over low heat, mix dry ingredients first, then mix into a ball.
Not edible.

Peanut Butter Playdough
3 1/2 cups peanut butter
4 cups confectioners' sugar
3 1/2 cups honey
4 cups dry milk powder
Obviously Edible
Mix by hand
