is she just spoiled....it drives me nuts...she will ask for something and if I say no, she would start nagging please...please...please...then cry...then nag some more...I usually ignore her...is that the right thing to do?

mine too! i think they're stuck inbetween independence and clinginess. i tell our daughter that she needs to ask calmly, clearly and please and thank you to get what she needs. i also tell her that whining isn't going to get her what she needs and that i can't understand what she's saying, when she's ready to ask properly, let me know. it sounds awful, but they need to learn how to act in the world - school, work, etc.

I am going through that right now. We started just ignoring her right away. If she persists after 5 minutes we give her a warning that if she continues to beg and cry. If the warning doesn't work we take a toy away for the rest of the day/night.

my sons used to do that all the time. some advice i got was to pay no attention to the whinning and nagging but when she does something good even somethiing little like putting toys away or simple saying please( if shes talking) make a huge deal of it. with time she should relize good equals fun stuff crying equals nothing hope it helps good luck :)
