My 3 month old is waking up an hour early. How do you extend?

He was sleeping until 7, now he's waking at 6. I'm worried about the time change coming up too.

At that age and well beyond, your son's sleep patterns are going to change constantly. He's still to young to be on a strict routine so I say just take his cues.

I dont know how old your baby is but all babies change the time they wake up quite a few times. At around 10 months most go through a phase of waking at 5am for a couple of months, sometimes earlier! Babies (and children for that matter) get up early, its an unfortunate part of motherhood. :)

At 3 months there is not much you can do to extend the time he wakes up at it is probably just a phase and will pass in time, Just be patient with him

you could always try black out curtains... ( just any thick curtain) or even a cool mist humidifier (for the steady noise and other benefits)

Sleeping scheduals vary for as the baby ages. I won't worry about it. At least he is sleeping. My 13 month old used to sleep through, but recently sleeps until midnight and is up for an hour, then returns to sleep until 7.

Babys sleeping habits change form time to time. Be happy he's sleeping until 6! My son didn't sleep through until he was around 6 months old!

My younger son use to sleep until 7 or 8 and now most mornings he is awake by 6. If you are not changing the time you put him to bed (ie. any earlier), than I don't think there is anything you can do about. Kids can change their sleeping habits quite frequently.
