My son has a twin sister who is fully daytime trained, but he won't use the toilet unless it was his idea and only when it is convenent to him, how can get him more into it, and get him daytime trained also? Help!

well with my oldest son, i had to make potty training fun for him to come around to it. i had to make it a game for him, i would throw cheerios in the toliet and tell him to aim for them. lol i know how weird huh? but it acctually work, for evey cereal he would hit i would reward him. that was also a way for him to aim in the toliet not on the floor. and less then a week he got the hang of it.

Try putting regular underwear on him. That really helped with my daughter. She was pretty much the same way. She only went potty if she felt like it at the time. It didn't take her long to realize that she didn't like being in wet clothes. I also didn't change her right away. I would let her walk around for a couple of minutes wet just so she could realize that it didn't feel really good. Just make sure you don't let him stay wet too long or he could get sore.
