My 9 month old loves music, the piano, beans in water bottle, baby music videos and classical CDs.

Like the beans I would like to involve different element to music, wind, water, etc...

Does anyone have any ideas???

go to your library's website. look for a series of cd's called Smithsonian folkways, they are old time folk music for kids. they love it. Peete seeger, Ella jenkins, woodie Guthrie, and Elizabeth Mitchell (I like an album called you are my little bird) are some good artists, also the Laurie Berkner band is awesome they have an music video dvd that is wonderful, it may be on you tube. bells, sticks (teach him to hit them together) also pvc pipe is fun to talk/yell into, my kids love it, you can also use it to bang together. if you are willing to invest a little (Christmas?) boom wackers are fun they are pitched tubes that can be baged on just about anything or against each other. my kids like to yell into them too.heavy duty jingle bells are fun too they have them on bracelets so that you can put them on a babys wrist. as for classical music.... try the carnival of the animas by Camille Saint-Saëns sleeping beauty suite (it is in the disney movie) and the swan lake suite by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and the movie Fantasia 2000. it is only 1 hr long and it is not boring (like the old one) it has some of the best music ever written on it. also for something differant try a cd called Hush by Yo-yo ma (on cello) and Bobby Mcferren (vocals, he is the don't worry be happy song guy) the classical stuff will be on you tube. good luck, music is fun for everyone!!! let me know if you have any questions.
