My two year old little girl keeps getting sores what I believe to be boils on her butt. Its Been going on for almost 5 months now. First doctor said it was a spider bite and put her on meds. They went away for about two months and then just showed back up two weeks ago. Took her to the ER and they cut it open and packed full of medicated gazes. Put her on medication again but she’s been off the meds a week and they already came back? I don’t want to take her back to the ER again the last time scared the crap out of her and got us nowhere. I never heard her scream so loud and her father and I had to hold her down while they did everything to her. I wash her bedding almost everyday now baths every night...does anyone have any insight into this issue that maybe could help? Please help!

pooor bubby.. i agree with the other moms ideas too.. could be any of those.. maybe also get her tested for staph infection? can be taken care of with antibiotics, my son has terrible excema.. he had gotten a mosquito bite, got infected, scratching so much to bleeding.. doc tested for staph, hes prone also bc of his excema, .. skin is opened up a lot bc of being itchy and scratching, hes under control now but the staph can be yucky and stick around

thank you everyone we just moved to el paso tx to fort bliss with the army we are trying to get her into see with a doctor and then maybe a dermintologist. Im avoiding the ER at all cost enless it gets bigger. Before we can get a hold of a doctor wich is hell to do in the army. I too thought it could be the pull ups she was in when this first started but she is out of pull ups even at night now. A friend stated it could be something with how mych iorn she has so Im looking into that too! Thank you again

do you think she may be allergic to the laundry detergent? I would try coating her bottom in Vaseline and changing detergents to one for sensitive skin. Poor baby! I know this has to be hard on the two of you, also. Hope this helps. If nothing else take her to a dermatologist.

It could be a type of cyst. My cousin often gets sebaceous cysts on her rear and they are very painful when they become infected. The cysts need to be drained and the fluid is very foul smelling. There are also many types of viruses that cause blisters. A virus may explain why they keep coming back. I hope you can find a doctor that knows what they are talking about and can tell you what they are. What kind of quack told you they were a spider bite? I would get a second opinion for her and avoid the ER. They often treat you but don't diagnose you. You need to see a general practioner or specialist for that.

Wow. I'd definently take her to a skin specialist, because the Dr. obviously has no clue. Is she still in diapers, or pull ups? Maybe she's allergic?

the bumps are the size of a penny just about sometimes bigger. If the pop a lot of yellow stuff and then blood comes out. They pop up one at a time around the same two spots everytime. they get so painful I cant pick her up and she will not sit down she gets frusterated and upset! She hasnt had the chicken pox but I think these are too big to be so.

has she had the chicken pox? my grandaughter got bumps on her butt that looked like little blisters but it was caused because she had the chicken pox, they lasted about 18 months and they go away on thier own. how big are the sores? like i said these were little blister bumps. I forget the name of it i will try to look up the name and post it for you.

Have you taken her to an actual skin specalist? My daughter has had bumps on her back for almost 2 years and I have taken her to more docters then I can remember anymore. I finaly took her to someone that just deals with the skin and she told me what they were and they are now going away and staying away.

Have you taken her to a dermatologist? Unless a spider keeps biting her in the same spot on her butt, I don't see that it is a spider bite.

Good luck! I really hope this is resolved!
