Hi,

I just wanted to see if anyone had done 'mystery shopping' as a form of extra income. If so, how much did you make on average, and how hard was it to get into? I'm trying to come up with something to do so I can have a little extra spending money around, without feeling like my husband is giving me an allowance. He's really good about it, but after working and earning my own income, it's a little weird for me.

Also, any other ideas for making some extra money that don't involve Tupperware-type parties? I'm not sure I'd be very good at that sort of selling...

Thanks!

I do mystery shopping. I have been doing it for about a year. There is all kinds of shops. Most shops pay between $ 7.00 -$30.00 a shop plus reimbursement. I would love to tell you more about it and answer your questions. Email me through facebook if you can. I'll try to check back.

Hi Heather! There are a lot of scams out there when it comes to working at home so be careful when deciding what to do.  I have been working at home for the past three years and love working around my kid's schedules.  I'd be happy to share more information with you if you want.  Please email me at ndilly@iw.net or else as for infomation on my website. www.familytimefirst.com  Thanks Nicole

Heather,
I am a stay at home mom and have a 6 month old son. I just recently joined The M.O.M. Team and I absolutely love it. I work with other moms who are all very supportive and extremely helpful in training me to learn all the ways of the business. The training is free and the support is unlimited!! I don't have to sell anything, keep inventory, or do parties. It is a very fun and flexible business and I love the fact that I can work when I want and still be there for my son. If this sounds like something you might be interested in, please visit my website www.4TheMoms.com. I would love to talk to you and give you more info!!

Hi Heather! Would you ever consider selling candles? You can do it several different ways. You can have parties, catalog parties, website sales, or even fundraisers. I am with Gold Canyon candles and I love it. Our candles are wonderful and they sell themselves so I don't have to do much at all. I make great money and have a great team going too. Feel free to check out my website at mygc.com/tarapiotrowicz. Let me know what you think. If you are interested I would love to chat with you more about it. Hope you have a wonderful afternoon. Talk soon. ~Tara

Thanks for the information Jocelyn...I notice there's not a lot of information on the site.  Can you give me a sense of what kind of work you do?  And do you find it's a decent amount of money that you earn?

I do paid surveys online and make about £1 for a 20 minute survey. They also ask me to mystery shop sometimes, maybe 4 times a year, for around £15 each time. It is easy money. If you give me your email address I'll send you some referral emails for them if you like. I've even got to test out new things before they come on the market before which was fun!
