Hi there!
My 3 month old has been on numerous formulas (Reg Enfamil, Enfamil Gentleease, Enfamil Lactose Free, Enfamil Soy, Enfamil Low Iron, Similac Senstive and Goodstart.
NONE of them have worked.
Her poop is dark army green, she is very gassy and she has crying outbursts throughout the day.
We dont think it is colic because she sleeps well at night...maybe getting up once for a bottle and then going right back to sleep. I think its a milk allergy or intolerance but they wont test for that until 8 months. On the soy....her poop was yellow, but she got extremely constipated and had to go to the hospital so I took her off that. Plus...I have heard that soy can cause allergies.
She is 16 pounds so shes not starving.
Has anyone tried Alimentum? I have been thinking about trying that but am not sure if I should be trying others beforehand seeing as it is milk, whey and soy free. What happens later on? Like when you want to introduce homo milk at a year and yogurt, cheese, etc. Can you still do this? Or is it a horrible thing to do?
Would goats milk be a better idea?
I have just started adding the daily dose of Bio Gaia so hopefully that helps as well.
My 17 month old never had any problems so this is new to me........
Any help would be appreciated!
