No at the moment. I have experience it twice. Is there anybody to give you a hand? For the time being just take good rest at least for 1month. D&C is just similar like delivery. You have to be warm, eat proper food, don't take cool stuffs, don't lift heavy things, don't do pressured works. It is said that the process of healing will take up to 6 months. So, within this period, please be more careful and alert.

I'm so sorry. When my sister had hers it took her about 2 weeks to start feeling 'normal' again. Do you have friends of family who can come over and spend time with you? I know when my sister had hers all she really wanted was someone to be there with her and some trashy magazines to read to keep her mind off everything. My sister miscarried on Christmas Eve and was pregnant that next April, that pregnancy stuck. I hope you have a good support system and are being well cared for. My heart goes out to you.

Sorry your having to go thru this, yes be careful and rest as much as you can, get help if needed. I wouldn't pick up your child unless absolutely. Good luck!

Got this from web from About.com, "Recovering and Coping after D&C:
Physical recovery should be relatively swift. Most women can go back to work after a day or two. The doctor can prescribe pain medication as needed for recovery. You may have vaginal bleeding and cramping for a few days, but it should not be severe or heavy. Contact a doctor if you have heavy bleeding or severe cramping, or if you have symptoms of infection. Your doctor will probably advise avoiding tampons and sexual intercourse for one to two weeks.

Most women will resume a normal menstrual period within six to eight weeks after a D&C, depending on how far along the pregnancy was when the miscarriage happened. Your doctor may advise waiting one to two menstrual cycles to begin trying to get pregnant."

I do not recall any physical symptoms from my 2 D & C's. I mostly recall my emotional distress. This was eased somewhat by my loving husband and older daughters who handled everything (including relatives) for a few days. I have been blessed with 5 beautiful, healthy children so do not spend a lot of time dwelling on what might have been. Good luck to you!

If you are still having pain or heavy bleeding you might want to go ahead and check in with your doctor. If you are just bleeding lightly it will probably stop soon. As for carrying your three year old they shopuld have given you restrictions when you where discharged. Calling your doctor never hurts if you are concerned. Hope you feel better soon.
