I had my mirena for almost 5 years, I had it taken out in april, we immediately started trying afterwards, The whole time I had it in I NEVER had a period, after having it taken out it took almost 3 months for me to even start spotting again, in August I got pregnant, I had a miscarriage, which isn't uncommon after having and IUD taken out, But that was August the 8th and Sept the 4 I was pregnant again, Very soon after miscarrying, They said that my conception date was August 24th, which was only 16 days later, I never had a period, so yes you can get pregnant without having a period. I am now 6 months pregnant with my first lil boy, I already have 2 girls, Good luck and I hope everything works out for you!!

I had the same issue with my mirena...it took me 3 months to get pregnant after mine was removed...but my cycle was never truly "normal" after I had it removed. Each month was closer and closer to being back to my 28 day cycle: 35days, 33 days then 31day then we found out we were expecting again. Its really frustrating to keep waiting when you want there to be a plus sign!! Good luck and try to keep your mind on other things...it will happen eventually! It can take most people up to a year after having it removed...and April 2012 is only a couple months away!!! Hang in there!

Go buy a pregnancy test because it is very possible you are pregnant. It doesnt matter how regular you are. If you have sex close to the time your body ovulates than you can get pregnant. A period only occurs if the released egg isnt fertilized.

It took me about 8-9 months for my cycle to regulate. I hated my IUD and will never get another. I have been off of it for 10mo now.

How long have you been off it exactly? It was a nightmare for me too. I bled for 6 months. My doctor insisted I keep it in until I finally said that's enough. My cycles were very irregular. It took me almost a year to recoup from that damn thing. But I would go and buy and EPT instead of wondering.

I was told when I had my IUD removed that it could take up to six months for my cycle to regulate. And yes, it is possible to get pregnant with irregular cycles.

You can totally get pregnant with an odd cycle. I went off BC, never had a period and got pregnant with my second right away (yeah like 3 years with no period).

I would take a test. If it is expensive for you, just go to your local heath clinic and get a free test.

If you are not pregnant, you should still see a doctor. You may want to use a pill if you are having issues with your horomone levels. Obviously, then you can't get pregnant. On the flip side, you don' t need your peroid to get pregnant. You can just have lots of sex (at least 4 times a week) and hope for the best!

I agree, if you had it out and your last period was in November you could very well be pregnant. I would also buy a few tests at the drug store, some times they are even on sale if you buy 2-3 at a time if it is money you are worried about as well. Best of luck on the results!

Hey, just go to the drug and get the pregnancy test. Buy an extra one as you could get pregnant at any time now. Hope it is positive! If it is not, you should ask your doctor about the frequency of your periods. Good luck

Have you gotten Mirena removed? If not then you are not pregnant. If so, when did you get it removed? You can become pregnant as soon as its removed. But, Mirena can take UP to a year of letting you become pregnant. Anything longer than a year, you should get checked out by your doctor. As far as you not back on cycle, not too sure. I would contact your doctor. But you can not ovulate without period. Since your period was in November and if you stopped using condoms around 2 weeks after your period. It's possible you could be pregnant. Don't know though! Good luck! I hope you get that baby girl!
