my first child was always constipated. But with my 1 month old it is not the case. I was just wondering if it is normal to change about 5-6 poopy diapers in 1 day. she does not pee nearly as much as she poops.

Do you breastfeed or formula? Breastfed babies can go almost every diaper for awhile or they can go months without pooping and be perfectly normal.

At 1mo that is perfectly normal. You can expect the number of pooey nappies to decrease after 3mo, by 6mo it will be anything from 2 per day to 1 a week (if breastfed).

I know my daughter went a LOT when she was that age! haha. I would definitely say it's perfectly normal. :)
