Pregnant again and need announcement ideas!!

I like the Zoe's Idea too...I think Im going with the tshirt idea...My daughters birthday is next week so all I have to do is make sure no one finds out. Also I thought that maybe I could have my daughter make an announcement to everyone that she is gunna be a big sister. I hope everything works out perfectly and everyone will actually SEE her shirt. lol

i'm 7 weeks pregnant and hopefully having my scan before i make a trip back to UK in Feb to see my family so I can tell them all face to face! I'm going to get a copy of my scan photo and put it in with a bunch of other photos for people to look through so they'll see it and get a nice surprise! I might also get my 4 yr old to wear a big sister to be t shirt!!

Isn't it weird that hallmark has announcement cards for just about everything (engagements, weddings, birth, graduation, etc) but there are no pregnancy announcements! I mean a simply card that says IM PREGNANT! lol why dont they have those???

oh my gosh I love that Idea....I really like the pregnant belly cards idea. But I dont have an ultra sound pic yet!! im only like 3 weeks pregnant lol. But I could just make my own cards like the ones at hallmark and instead of making them to doc or mom ill make them to papa or to uncle. I really like the tshirt Idea also especially since my daughters bday is coming up in about 3 weeks. As long as noone finds out about my pregnancy for 3 weeks i will probably do the tshirt idea. Im really tempted to just do the pregnant belly cards...that way I can print them off quickly and tell them NOW instead of waiting 3 freakin weeks!! lol

I think having your first born wear a "big brother" or "big sister" shirt sounds like a fun way to make the announcement. I'll likely do that with my third. My family is so used to my 2nd born wearing a "LITTLE sister" shirt that I think it might take them awhile to figure it out.



With my 2nd, I wrote a poem about my family and at the end I said, "in May we hope to be a family of four" and then you flipped it over to see an ultrasound picture. It made both my parents and grandparents cry, so I'd say that was a success.

My freind helped me make mine...

Take a clip art pic of a silhouette of a pregnant person and crop an ultrasound photo in the belly of the silhouette. It turned out SO cute.

All I can think of after reading this is that episode on Full House where Becky told Jesse they were having babies....she made dinner with all 'baby' items....baby corn, baby carrots, etc lol. Any way, I like Elizabeth's idea! A t-shirt sounds like a great idea.

I made a t-shirt for my 9 month old to wear that said 'Coming Spring 2011' on the back and on the front 'Future Big Brother' and had my family read it when they came over for my step-daughter's 4th birthday party and then posted pics of him wearing the shirt on facebook to tell friends and stuff. Hope this helps :)
