Registered Sex Offenders who molested children are being allowed in schools

There is a policy in place in some North Dakota schools that allows convicted and registered sex offenders to attend elementary school functions, concerts, sporting events etc... With the superintendants review and approval child molesters are being allowed to attend requested events that their children are participating in. To my knowledge there are very few parents who knew about this school policy. I stumbled across it when I called the school to report a registered sex offender at a elementary concert.

This is absolutely not right!! Although I do feel bad for their children if they don't have a parent in the audience, I feel like the offenders gave up that right when they did what they did. Anyone who is a registered sex offender with crimes against children shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a school function regardless of whether their children are performing or not.
