My daughter is 5 mths old. When we went to dr at 4 mth check-up he was concerned about her not pushing up yet. I do alot of tummy time with her and she just will not push up for anything I've taken many diffrent advices on how to work with her but she still refuses. She will lift her head but not push up on her arms, and she still hasn't rolled over. She's getting close to rolling over on her back though. Has anyone else had this prob with there little ones. We see dr again in Feb and I'm worried he will be even more concerned if she still haven't done this.

Should I be concerened or just let her be and learn at her own pace?

you know what hun, just like us we all learn at our own pace and so do babbies. so hay just relax enjoy the time with her and it just means the more excited you will be when she does. my daughter will be 1 just learned to stand for 10sec on the 7 and she still only says 2 words. but hay i just love her for who she is and what she does not what people say she should be doing. it just takes the fun times away from u and ur kids when u worry at least thats the way i see it....everyones diffrent.

I agree with Julie, like everything else in society, people are becoming way too comparative. Some babies will skip certain "milestones" and others may hit four of them in a day. Just make sure you are keeping baby happy and healthy and continue to do tummy time.

I am sure you've heard this a hundred times over but all babies develop at their own pace. I think the guidelines and milestones that have in place are a general guideline and you should not worry to much if your baby isn't hitting them right on time. Both of my kids HATED belly time and with each of them I would worry that they wouldn't have the strength to crawl and they both did just fine. Relax and enjoy.....she will do it when she is ready :)
