My son, 2 and a half and my daughter, 4 both have runny noses and chest congestion...both are on antibiotics. what about vicks....is it too strong to rub on their chests. my son especially is having a hard time when he lays down. thanks for any advice!!!

was just about to say that im sure they dont reccomend you using vicks on children under 6 but they do make milder ones for babies and smaller children, hope your littles ones are feeling better soon.
If he is having trouble sleeping, try putting a rolled up towel under his mattress so his head is elevated and steam up the bathroom by running the bath or shower and sit in the steam with them for 10 minutes before bedtime!

if your worried about the strength they make a vicks baby balm its it fantastic I use it on my kids when needed. Also get a vapourizer they are also great for decongesting. also try a fluffier pillow. Hope you have some luck.
