I am new to this whole new life - having a baby and staying home. I am use to always being out and about, finishing things, and being around other people like me. I love my new life (and baby) and want to find people to connect with. My friends are either single, married and not wanting kids, or co-workers with empty nests. If you are looking for the same thing, I would love to meet up and walk with the strollers or sit and have coffee! Surely there are more new moms out there looking for the same thing....

I am a stay at home mom with a 11mth old. I have never reached out like this to people on a mom site. My husband works 10-12 hrs a day and i am finding myself being alone alot with my little'n. I am also looking for other moms to hang out with and do stuff with. If u think this catches your interest please feel free to give me a message back thank you

Thanks Kate, I just sent and e-mail inquiry on MC website, hopefully they have one in my area. I also joined the meetup website and thinking of starting a playgroup myself. Thanks much ladies and well wishes to all of you and your families.

I was in that boat too and was going totally crazy by the time my oldest son was 2 (he's now almost 6). I joined a local MOMS Club and it has been such a life saver since I now have 2 very active boys. I would definitely recommend checking out Momsclub.org. They have thousands of chapters around the world so even those overseas can see if there is one near you.

Hi Ladies! I guess if I'm here is because I'm wearing the same boots! I live in MO and used to be a single, workaholic Mom before I got married but since I had my now 2 year old baby girl got really sick (my body developed severe Reumathiod Arthritits on my spine) I had to stop working and now my only days out of my house are when I'm going to see all of my doctors :(
I also going to try the websites that you guys are mentioning here but we can also conect eachother thru Facebook! My profile is basically the only way I share all my good experiences with my todller and also my 12 year old tweeny! Congrats on your new bundle of joy Stacey! and you are more than welcome to be my friend on FB (cause we are so busy and far away!) just send me a private mssg and I let you know my details! Have a great Family Saturday!!!

Im in exact situation, and also a military wife and mom to a 15 mo. oh, plus in the foreign country~ yokosuka Japan. It gets really sad esp when hubby is out to sea but now that our lil angel is this old, she can interact more with me now and that alone really makes the both of us happy during times like this. Congratulations on your new baby.

I so would meet with you except I'm in Colorado! Same situation as you. I'm military so I have the double-whammy life (hubby gone all the time that is). Ayone on here in Colorado?

Go to momsclub.org to see if there's a chapter in your area. It's non profit and they have playgroups, moms' nights out, family nights out, events, etc.
