hi my name is jamie and i am a stay at home mom. i have a three month old daughter. my fiance works full time and it gets really lonely. I live in dickinson and the oil field is really taking over here in town and im too afraid to go out buy myself. I just get so lonely and i would love just to have someone to go for walks with during the day or some kind of grown up interaction. dont get me wrong i love staying home with my baby but i need to get out of the house.

I go through the same thing everyday. I feel like I eat, sleep and breathe kids. You have to reach out to other people. I go over for walks and to the local park to try and meet new people. I think what we need is some time away from the reponsibility a few hours a week. My husband is always working (7 days). I think us SAHM's are all in the same boat. The computer is my connection to the outside world. I also think we want to connect with our husbands or partner and feel loved like the beautiful women that we are. What do you think?

I am also a stay @ home mom of three. I have no social life and about to lose my sanity.....lol. :/ id like to have someone to talk to. Alot of nights I just cry and I feel hopeless. Anyone willing tot talk? Its very lonely..u can also add me to fb.

Hi, Ive only got one gorgeous child myself but feel my hands are full aswell haha, Im in the same situation really ,my partner works all day 6days a week and Im in Edinburgh alone always with my baby and it does get very lonely would love to even just have online mommy friends and obviusly id die for met up friends aswell.xx

I am a stay at home mom (age 26) of an 11 month old and am pregnant with our second. Though I have a very supportive and loving husband, I am still finding it hard to deal with so much isolation. I am originally from Texas but moved to Australia because my husband is Australian. His family is not close to us in distance at all and I do a mothers group (very nice but do not see any of them outside of that one day) and talk with my friends and family via Skype weekly, library story time, etc. I was working full time before hand and traveling but the sudden stop of everything is still difficult. I am completely in love with my family but feel sometimes I got lost along the way. Sorry for the vent! Basically I understand where you are coming from andif anyone wants to email or chat even to just vent; I am here!!

wow all these comments are amazing!!! Thank you all so much for the support every one. I have a girl who is four a son who is 2 in jan and another son who is 9 months. For all the women out there who wish to know kidderminster is in england lol. I never knew i would go so much response and would like to thank everyone once again. I now know i am not on my own and that there are other stay at home moms out there that feel the same as me.

I had both of mine via csections... it is very lonely isnt it? To be at home all the time with no "me time"... I feel the same way... and I feel like I am slowly going crazy... I just cried cause a daycare kid pooped lol... just cause I feel like my house is always dirty no matter how hard I work... then again its probably really because I slept from 6-7am last night :(

Hi :) My name is Jen and I am a SAHM of two... Maddie is 6 years old and in grade 1 and Bella is 10 weeks old. I also do home daycare and went back to working when Bella was just 4 weeks old... I feel CONSTANTLY overwhelmed adn on the verge of tears... so many little needy people and not enough time for me :( I think I wash my hair about once every 4 days and sleep... well... what's that? By the time I deal with Bella until sometimes 3 - 6am its time to get up to get Maddie ready for school and greet daycare families :( I feel like ever since I had Bella I have become completely isolated... all those GREAT friends I had before Bella have mysteriously VANISHED... they dont call or ask how we are doing... I mean come on I recovered from a c-section and they can't even ask how I am doing?? So overwhelmed... don't know whaat to do... :(

Im with 3 chidlren also and in my late 20s, im a SAHM up until i had my 3rd child, it was cheaper to stay at home in my hometown, with child care costs etc...I look forward to meeting more SAHMs!

Girl i know exactly how you feel! i have a 6 month old daughter and i swear if i go to the mall ONE more time this month just for "sumthing to do" im gonna need mall rehab! im going nuts i dont know what to do...it always starts out as a quick trip to Dunkins then before i know it shes asleep in the backseat and if i go home right then she wakes up as soon as i take her out of the truck...soooooo i drive and drive and drive around while she sleeps annnnnd boom im at the mall, smh LOL

Hi Vikki :) I'm 27 years old and I've been a stay at home mom for almost 2 years now; I have a 20 month old daughter and a 6 week old daughter. I've never been so stressed out in my life, and this really is so lonely. My husband works 11 hours a day so the only help I get is after about 6:30pm. Both of our families live at least 3 hours away, and we don't have many close friends where we live (Detroit, MI area) . I've looked for meetup groups in my area yet I don't know how I will make the time with 2 little ones now, so my only hope to connect with other SAHMs is online. I would love to talk with people on here, especially those who can relate to staying at home with little ones...

Hi im a stay at home mom to my little one as well. i get pretty bored most days as my exhusband/bf isat work. he works six days a week till 730 at night. so if you ever want to chat or ask advice ill see what good advice i may have.

Being a SAHM can be lonely. I find it hard to find groups in my area (Mesa, AZ) on meetup.com. Well, I can find the groups, but I guess my child's sleep schedule is too bizarre. Most of the outings begin at 9am. My son sleeps until 10 or 11. Anyway, I know how you feel.

I am a stay at home mom of three now was four. My oldest graduated moved out and had her first child. I have two boys age 12 and 3, and my other daughter is 5. I love being here with them but having kids at so many different ages does make it interesting none stop.
