Stealing toys away from other children.....

I am a babysitter as well as a stay at home mom. for the last few months this 2 1/2 year old boy that i babysit takes everyones toys away from them & then proceeds to either play with it for only a few minutes or just tosses it aside immediately. its gotten to the point where he pushes them to get to the toy. hes a pretty laid back kid except for that. ive tried time-out, explaining to him so he understands, his parents have also tried to explain, and ive tried to take him away from his playmates. any other suggestions????

the only other thing is to take him home, i do time out and it works, if he does something really bad we go straight home, then he knows if he does it agen we will be going home hope this helps, my son is 2 n 1/2 laura xx
