What do YOU do when you are stuck inside with a 3 month old and it's too cold to go outside? The house is clean and the dishes are done.... help!

Facebook? ha ha. I try to develop some hobbies like teach myself to knit, play guitar, piano, exercise, listen to music and read a book, watch a good TV program or movie, declutter, digital scrapbook, write in my baby's journal, update her baby book, go through their clothes and organize the next size up, go on kijiji and look at presents for her, go on the phone with friends, make cookies or muffins, find recipes and plan meals, make a list of things that I would like to try doing or learning about...that's just some ideas :)

I agree with Emily, if you are stuck at home and can't go anywhere, find a hobby. I am an avid reader and papercrafter. I wil work on making cards or read while my kids are playing. I have older kids so we will do a craft or we play lots of board games.

When I'm home-bound with nowhere to go, I take a candlelit bath and read while my 8 month-old daughter is napping. Also, this may sound a bit odd, but I bellydance as well. Not professional-level at all, but it isn't too difficult to get started and makes me feel so feminine! Especially after having a baby. And it's a great workout!

I agree with the mall thing. Only, I keep my babies in carriers while I do it. Try to find a mom's group near you. A lot of groups will have indoor playgroups during the winter so you can get out and about.
If you are stranded without a car, etc find a hobby like sewing or scrapbooking that you can do while your little one sits nearby or rolls around on the floor next to you.
I personally love to sew, so I usually work on my machine while my kids watch videos, color, do crafts, read books, or just wander around the house. :)

I know it may sound funny, but just taking the baby for a stroller ride as you walk around the mall, really helps you get out of the house for just a little while. :0)

I am recently a SAHM and had the same issues with my 23 month old. The only other things we did was some craft projects. Here is a site that has some cute little things. It will be kind of hard to get her to stretch out her fingers but you could always try. It is always a great way to keep track of how much she is growing! Here is the link. There are many other things there besides the thanksgiving stuff. Hope this helps some. Hang it there, only a few more months to go, I know that seems like a year though!!!
