I drink my coffee in the am but by the time its time to cook dinner Im soooo tired. I do a little cleaning thought out the day to try and keep up on the house. I dont do a whole lot but Im always tired. Anyone have any good advise to keep up with the house work and the kids without feeling wiped out all the time???? Anything will help.

get your iron and thyroid checked out, stop drinking coffee and make sure you get out and exercise during the day. also if your iron and thyroid levels are normal talk to your doctor about depression.

I was the same way, and it's frustrating to get up in the morning and start declining right away..so by the time it's dinner time you can barely walk and think. Here is what helped me: I lost all the pregnancy weight, turned to vegan lifestyle, started swimming/more exercise, lots of time in the sun/outdoors, taking good multivitamin, drinking fresh juices I make at home, and even went to a therapist just to find out I am dealing with grief ( I lost my Mom two years ago). All of that which definitely seems like a lot has helped, and I did it gradually one by one. I hope you can try some of them, the difference is huge. You could be just exhausted from the daily routines or need a super relaxing day at a spa...I know I felt stuck for a while but it is very possible to find joy in the little things again. Wishing you all the best!!

Thank you ladies. Sometime it takes other pointing out what you may need to do differently for you to relies it all. I have been diagnosed w. depression before but no longer takes meds for it. I may need to get back on it. Ive tired taking a milti vitamin before but I always seem to get a sinus infection when I start taking them. (my mom does too) More exercise would probley help and I believe I have some b12 in the cabnet. lol. I will try all of these. If Im still tired then I will get my butt to the dr. Thanks ladies!

Ugh I understand, I always feel tired. :( I have a 10 month old and I'm also pregnant, but even before that I just feel exhausted and I also get at least 8+ hours of sleep most nights, and even with a nap during the day I feel exhausted. Best of luck to you and hope you feel energized soon!!

Adults need 7-9 hours of sleep each night, so it sounds like you're getting e nough.

Is your sleep uninterrupted or do you wake up frequently? Do you dream? If you're not getting deep sleep, that may also be the problem. Are you stressed?

Are you taking vitamins, eating healthfully, and getting moderate exercise? A lack of these things can contribute to feeling fatigued.

I agree that you should see a doctor and get some bloodwork done, but I also think adjustments to your lifestyle ma make a difference.

EXACTLY what I was thinking ladies. If my hemoglobin gets low, I am SO tired! You need to get a blood test to check everything and make sure you aren't deficient in anything. Sleep apnea, like Jennifer said could be the culprit too. It could be a million things. I would definitely go to the doctor!

I would agree with seeing your doctor. Not only could you have low iron, diabetes, or a whole list of possible issues, but you could also have sleep apnea (stop breathing for short periods during sleep) like I have. If everything checks out ok, then I would suggest some kind of workout routine. It could really rev up your metabolism giving you tons of extra energy.

Have you been to your doctor and talked to your doctor about it? I have low iron and if I am not careful I feel the same way... But when I do feel like that... I try to sometimes take a nap with my kids... When I lay them down I lay down for a few then I get up before them and start cleaning again and days that my kids don't want to take naps... I try not to stop cleaning or sit down.. I try to keep going... And if I do I will read or do other things... I know once I sit down and I don't do anything I will get really tired and not want to do anything... If you haven't talked to your doctor I would make an app asap and tell your doctor that you are having a hard time staying awake... They will most likely do blood work and make sure that everything is right... I hope that this was helpful...
