I recently had my period (if you could call it that) but it was 2 weeks early and it was only light spotting for a couple days. It started out brown and turned to pink. Could this mean i am pregnant and if so how long after should i wait to take a pregnancy test?

It could be an implantion bleed (when egg attaches to wall) but i would still wait until the day your period would be due before testing, good luck to you.

i am trying to have another as well. I am normally very fertile and the first month we try we usually get preggers. So when we tried last month and didnt get pregnant i was devistated. I actually just got my period and was heavier than normal on the 22nd of August, wasent suppose to come until the 27th or so. So i am wondering if i had a miscarriage, because it is heavy and very clotty. am kinda having the same thing as you, as in it coming earlier than normal. But the only differance is is that mine is heavy and yours isnt. So it could just be implantation bleeding. I HOPE SO FOR YOUR SAKE. STICKY BABY DUST TO YOU!! Good Luck honey.

First Response tests can give a positive up to 4 days before you would expect a period. I can attest to the accuracy. If you were 2 weeks early, that would be about when you would ovulate--could be some spotting from that (rare but can happen) or it could have been implantation/pregnancy. Or it could just be one of those things.

I had something like this one month and since I only spotted for a couple days and a preg test was neg, I thought maybe I had been pregnant and was loosing it.
A called a good friend in a panic and she said just to wait it out - there was nothing I could do anyway. I ended up getting a "real" period a couple weeks later.

The new style pregnancy tests usually can tell from the date your period is due, if you take a test before that it might say you're not pregnant and you actually could be (i did that once and had to take another one a couple of weeks later!). It's hard but rather than waste the money i would wait until the day your period was due (in two weeks) to take a test. The body is a strange thing and periods and ovulation can change for many reasons so try not to worry or dwell too much (easier said than done i know) and wait to see. Good luck xx
