The DH and I have disagreed on vacation spots for us & our 21 mo daughter. Suggestions so far are...1) South Padre & Mexico (mom says: are you kidding? 2) San Antonio (DH: they want how much for a hotel? 3) Six Flags Over Texas-Looney Tunes Land (mom: how long is that line for that 2 minute ride?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Basically, DD LOVES water but she doesn't understand the difference between pool, beach, lake as long as she is wet. We want to get out of town from home, but I don't want too many days without her crib (we have no travel crib).

Help - we need a vacation from trying to plan a vacation.

Sesame Place is the best thing for toddlers, they have plenty of water activity geared towards them another place is Dourney park which has a kid section full of rides that the parents can get on with them and they also have a water park.

Sesame Place in Pennsylvania. It's a theme park & water park totally about Sesame Street! We're in Michigan so on the way through we stopped at Hershey, but she may be a little young for that. Definitely check out Sesame Place. It was the best vacation we went on when our daughter was young. She knew the characters and they even had a character breakfast/lunch/dinner that you can attend.

I have a 3 1/2 yr. old and a 14 month old. We've been to Disney World several times and love it! They have pack and plays in the hotel rooms. If you stay on site you can get a ride to the hotel from the airport (don't need a car seat) and can use the monorail. You can also rent strollers to use in the park so you can pack pretty light (well, relatively).

Cindy, Most hotels that you travel to will have a pack n play or a crib available to use if you request it upon making your reservation. (and then call and remind them before you leave). I would suggest that you travel where ever you guys want to go. We took our 21 month old to Hawaii this year, she loved it. She loves just being outside (parks, water.. etc.) I have heard that going to theme parks is a bad idea with toddlers unless you buy the pass that lets you bypass the wait in line. I hope that helps...
