My daughter is 14 yrs. old and is wanting to go to the Valentine's Day Dance t school? She is BOY crazy. Should I let her go or not. The dance also is on my b-day, so therefore she will need close supervision. I don't want to be a grandma yet. Give me your advise.

I think it would be okay for her to go, these are the things you look back fondly on when you get older. I remember my 8th grade dance like it was yesterday. The schools here have constant supervision at the dances and children are not even allowed to go outside until their ride is there. You say it is your birthday and she will need extra supervision: does this mean after the dance that you won't be home? I highly doubt you will be becoming a grandma after a school dance. ;)
