check out leaving out dairy and gluten. A lot of people are sensitive to these. A probiotic would be helpful. Just go to the vitamin shop or a health food store and get one out of the refrigerator. Make sure it's in the high billions, 20 or so billion. If a girl, buy a woman's and if a boy buy a man's. they are old enough. This will not hurt and will probably help. It will heal their stomach. Probiotic means "pro-life". Yogurt will not do unless it is homemade with raw milk, so just go the easy route and buy the probiotics.

My son did that for like 3 weeks till he got to the point where he didnt want to eat anything at all. I just kept offering him food and he would take it but he wouldnt eat it, it was like he was afraid to eat. I made him smoothies using baby food so that he was still getting some kind of something. One day I took him to the grocery store and he picked out some crackers and he wanted them now like he was starving, so i let him eat them in the store and he has been eating normally ever since. The docs and I have no clue what was wrong with him and he hasnt done it since. I kinda think he might have had a slight stomach sickness of some kind and so he just got afraid to eat, fear of throwing up. Just keep offering him everything and eat in front of him, it could be a fear, show him its ok. I know it kinda sounds odd but its worth a try good luck.

How long has he been puking for? How long after eating does he throw up? Does he throw up every meal? What do you feed him/ does he eat? Have there been any massive changes? A move? School changes? Does he play sports?
Dehydration, maybe but I bet you've checked that already?
A move - houses can make us SO sick sometimes.... I've seen instances where there were bugs in the walls causing an illness. Also, broken mercury made a ladies daughter perminently ill.....

Allergies is the most likely reason. Some people aren't born with them, but get them after a time. He could be lactose or gluten intolerant; could be a fructose issue or worse case scenario an insulin problem? At least you've had him tested for issues. If you have the health insurance, have him tested for food intolerances and allergies. Hope it's nothing serious and just a diet issue.

Does he have a cold? Or did he just get over a cold? My 3 year old was doing the same thing and when I took him to the Dr they said that all the post nasal drip had caused his gag reflex to become overly sensitive. We did a couple days of a nasal decongestant, per the Dr's orders, and it finally subsidded. He was vomiting at least once a day for over 2 weeks when we got this diagnosis.

You can try eliminating foods like someone who is trying to find out if food triggers Migraines. If you eliminate then you might be able to figure out what is causeing himto vomit. He could have a food allergy. Even spices can cause this. One other you can try is going to a Homeopathic or Naturalist specialist, they look at things differently than the doctors that we see on a day to day basis. Typically to see them is runs between about $60 -$ 120 for the fist visit but it does last around 2.5 - 3 hours.
