Water makes me vomit

My youngest daughter is 6 and I discovered about a month after she was born that I would throw up if I drank cold water straight from the fridge. This is still occurring 6 years on.
Has anyone else experienced the same symptoms? And if so, was there any damage to your stomach caused by carrying the child or frim child birth itself?
I don't feel the same as I did but my doctor is blowing it off and making me feel like a hypercondriac.
I just had something to eat with my kids but sculled down some mountain dew before I started eating then had to throw it all up within minutes.

I'm very frustrated.

Lots of people have sensitive stomachs and cannot tolerate really cold or really hot beverages. If you feel your doctor is dismissing you and that there may be something really wrong, seek a second opinion. If you have had a full workup, like a scope of your esophagus and stomach or an upper GI xray, and those were normal? Then you are likely ok.

You mention cold water straight from the fridge... what about room temperature water? My kids all love water from the fridge. While it doesn't make me sick to drink it... I never do as I prefer having a bottle of water out and by me at all times to drink from.

I don't think you're alone on that. Since I had my first daughter at 18, I haven't new able to drink water without getting nauseas. Weird, but true.
