What do people think about the women who have big boobs and wear padded bras? Is that a no-no?

I have big breasts and love my padded bras, i hate not having enough nipple coverage, resulting in "head lights" when its cold.

I found padded gave much better support when I was an E cup, now I am a D it is not so bad. When I was a G cup I really understood your feelings on the nipple coverage thing!

I wear both! The padded ones more when we are out than anything! And, I don't wear the un-padded one if it is really cold, if I do, I have a sweatshirt on.
It is all about personal preference! When I was smaller, I wore push-ups to look bigger.
So, if you prefer padded, then wear them! ;)

i'm only a B and before i had my baby i wore padded bras to help shirts look better. but after my first child, i don't like people starring at my sons milk lol so now i wear less padding but still a little so i dont get nipply. i take the underwire out though bc its easier to pull the boobs out for nursing

That's what I have Nicole. Just the ones that are moulded with no big pads to make me look huge. I love underwires, the first time I ever wore a non-underwire was a maternity bra and I felt so uncomfortable it took ages to get used to it! Now I don't care either way.

For those of you who want the nipple neutralizer but feel too huge if you wear padded bras... You can get just 'formed' bras that are like soft molding but have no extra padding. That's what I always buy because I HATE pointy nipples!

I have smaller boobs, B cup, but I wear a very hard to find size, so I take what I can get as long as it's comfortable. This normally means underwires and padding.

I wear underwire bras. Never wore padded ones as it makes my breasts looks bigger. Never had an issue with anything showing as I make sure my bras are not the thin kinds.

I always thought the padded bras were for making your boobs bigger. My daughter, LOL, was the one who enlightened me that it also covers or hides the nipples. So I started wearing them for more cover so the "headlights" don't stick out ALL the time which is what I run into. I like wearing the padded bras now that I know they are good for more than making them bigger. Plus the men don't stare as bad at my chest, that got tiring! Other woman don't seem to stare as bad either. I say keep wearing them or start you'll be fine!!! Padded bras are for more than padding they are for hiding!!

I'm a DD and I wear padded. I've found that my back hurts less when I wear padded. They just seem to have a bit of extra support that is much needed.
Plus, as the other ladies said, I'm not flashing my nipples through my shirt at everybody :)

I always were padded. When a see a women with her nipples poking out, i think of grandmas old school bras from the 50s with no coverage or support, and wonder why shes wearing those.

I've always worn a bra with some padding. I'm a D but one is slightly larger than the other(hate that) so i wear a bra with a little extra padding to even things out and give a little lift. Plus, it does help with the "headlights".lol.

I'm a size G when not pregnant and H when pregnant. I have always worn the padded bras for nipple coverage and support. The padding feels so much better to me because it has more support. I can enter a room and not worry if I'm cold or not (I was a D in 7th grade. I'm not over weight just big busted) I feel that the little padding that is there isn't going to make a difference but when your big chested everyone seems to notice if your cold...

i'm a D as most of the women who already posted are, i wear a padded bra mostly because they seem to be more comfortable, and come in more colors than white, tan, and black. imo if youre in a D you already have huge boobs, whats a little bit of padding really gonna make a difference. :) plus the padding does help with the "headlight" situation!

Hmmm, never thought of it that way. I'm a D also, but never wear padded bra's because they make my boobs look huge. But you do have a point about the nipples. I don't wear underwire either, OUCH! I know they have padded bras that aren't. I'll have to try one. The only thing is, is that it makes me feel like I have ENORMOUS boobs.

Im the same, im a d cup and still prefer the comfort of a padded bra. The non padded ones seem to make my boobs "hang" differently so to speak lol

I've always worn padded bras whether I had small boobs or large. I was an A when I was a teenager and B when I was going out on the town and I wore bras with heaps of padding and now I'm a D I still like them for the support.
