My little girl is a smart cookie she loves to talk already and play but I'm working at home now just part time and Id like something she could watch that would teach her good things instead of the same baby enstines that we own right now. Any suggestions, educational music for car rides would be fun also! Thanks!

my kids always liked elmo and barney. now it is mickey mouse clubhouse which captivates my one year old as well as the older two

Preschool Prep Series is great. It teaches letters numbers,and sight words they need 4 school. They have website Preschool Prep.com Also there is a great website called Learn to Read at Starfall, this site teaches comprehension,and phonics. I got that site from my kids school.

I agree with Jennifer Lott about "your baby can read". Phonics and comprehension are important parts of reading that are left out of that program.

Well 'Your baby can read' has been proven to set kids back when they start school because it does not teach reading just memorizing. Elmo is good if you can stand it....all I can think of when it comes to Elmo is.....What do Elmo and the devil have in common? they both are little red and posses small children......anyways if you know who Raffie is he has awesome kids cds ( he was around when I was a kid) and the Disney has some really good cds also...I can't help you with educational dvd's not too much into that.

"Your baby can read" is an awesome video it also comes with flash cards, check out the web sight my kids and god son LOVE it!

well my daughter is 25 months old and she loves elmo. Its educational and they teach nothing but good things. my son also loves to watch it with her.
