Its nearing that time again for kids to go back to school and children to start a routine a week or two weeks before the 1st day of school. Our 7 1/2 year old will be starting 1st grade a week before his 4 year old sister starts VPK, so, how does your family handle schedule/routine before school, what do u do? Thankyou for the advice in advance!!!!!!

I Highly Recommend MyBievo.com. This web based application is a life saver. It connects all of my family events into one central place and provides instant updates to my black berry and Google calendar. It has worked for me so well because most of my kids coaches and teachers have created groups on the bievo platform which provide me instant updates to my smart phone whenever a changed date is posted.

Youre welcome. I love and use both. Cozi since everything is right there on my phone and I know whats what, the printables to hang on the fridge everyone can add things that they want to do then on Sunday nights we pull it off and figure out whats going on for the week. extra stuff that is. :D
I also used the behavior charts for my son who has some stuff going on it helped get us get rid of some of the bad behaviors he was doing.

Online Cozi is an awesome one http://cozi.com you can do it online with your phone or what ever.
For offline (ones you can print out and write on) Chart jungle is awesome, not only schedules but chore charts, behavior, all kinds of fun stuff http://www.chartjungle.com/schedules.htm...

5:30 wake up the high school and college kids
5:40 -6:30 they get ready for school
6:30 Wake up 2 more and the first 4 eat breakfast and finish doing everything they have to.
7:00 older ones head out for school and the middle schoolers finish getting ready and last 2 get up.
7:30 next set heads out for school. The last 2 get breakfast.
8:00 the last two leave.
When they get home they get 1/2 hour to get a snack then it is time for homework and studying.
Dinner on the table at 5:30
7:00 starts the bedtime routine.
8:00 the 2 younger ones go to bed.
9:00 middle school goes to bed
10:00 the older ones have to disappear into their bedroom.
By 10:15 I am ready for bed

I have 8 so my day starts at 5 am. I break the scheduale minute by minute.
5:00 get up take a shower.
5:20 get dressed and make my bed.
