What does a normal day for you consist of?

Just wondering what other stay at home moms go through during the days. Sometimes I get tired of the repititon and lonely days. Am I the only one who feels like this? What are your daily schedules like?

Up at 6-6.30am every day, put on a load of washing. Kids have breakfast around 7 am.

Mon-Fri I go to the gym in the mornings and the kids attend the child care there. Mondays we go to playgroup, Tues is my shopping day.

Usuallly after the gym I come home and get showered, we play/read/do craft activities/go to the park/run errands.

I try to be home in the afternoon if I can so I can do abit of house work and the kids can calm down before we have dinner at 5pm, bath at 6pm and bed by 7 pm.



Weekends are pretty much the same minus the gym.

Some days I take the kids to the beach or swimming, some days like today I will go for a coffee with the other mums from my gym.

My daily schedules are boring!

8:00a wake up and make breakfast for myself and daughter (husband doesn't eat early)

8:40a take my husband to work

9:15a reading time with Ruby (15 months)

10:00a make snacks

10:30a sing/dance time

11:35a make lunch

12:00p-3:00p Rubys nap time (I use this time to clean the house or take a shower/ bath, make phone calls)

3:00p go pick up husband from work

3:30p make after work snacks

4:00p make dinner

4:30p reading time with Ruby

5:00p (usually dinners ready) clear off table and get Ruby into her booster chair

6:00p draw Rubys bath

6:30-7:30p Rubys ridiculously long bath

7:45p Rubys second dinner and wind-down period

8:00p Reading stories (I can read up to 12 books before she starts to yawn) then I leave her in her crib to read her board book

8:30p Rubys in bed so my husband and I usually watch a movie or he plays some games

9:30-10:00p we go to bed



then the whole cycle begins again the next day! sorry to bore ya!
