my son is 5.5 and my daughter is 4. they bathe together and share a bedroom. what is inappropriate anyway? my kid understand each other's anatomy and correct names. it's getting a bit more squashy in there now tho, so sometimes they choose separate baths so they can spread out and play. i'm sure they'll tell me when they no longer want to share!

GREAT QUESTION!! I had the same one. I have a daughter that is three and a son that is one and they take baths together. I still think that it is okay. My daughter really doesn't care much and of course my son doesn't! Every now and then my daughter will say he has a boy pee-pee and I have a girl pee-pee....and that is it. So I think that when it starts to be inappropriate we will know. But for me, my daughter is going to start wanting her privacy soon! But for now she enjoys playing in the tub with her brother!

well i have one hes 6yrs and twin daughters they love havin bath together my twin girls are 3yrs at the moment its fine i think till my son gets older he's is awear of his body till he he ready i think thats best !! :)

Same here...he has even pooped in the tub and she still wants to bath with him...kids are funny. Thanks everyone for your help. I will leave it up to them.

My kids bathe together almost every night still and they are 4.5 and 2. Oldest is my daughter and my son is 2. I have also wondered the same thing but my daughter doesn't seem bothered by her little brother yet ( except for when he pees in the water...LOL )

I stopped bathing my kids together when my girl was 6 and my son was 3. They are still young I say let them have fun together until someone is uncomfortable with it.

I stopped when my daugther asked me to. They will tell you when they no longer feel comfy bathing with their brother or sister.

I'll second that. When i was little i used to share a bath with my younger brother and sister until i was about 7. Theres 2 years between me and my brother an 5 between me and my sister

aww they are still real young hey. I wouldn be worried about it for a while yet. My mum bathed my brother and I together for quite a while longer than that. and we were 2 and a half years different in age
