I met my other half working on the UK theatre tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (I was touring electrician and he was a sound engineer) when he joined the tour in blackpool.
I was only supposed to be on the show for 6 weeks and stayed 13 months when we both left with me pregnant with our beautiful daughter! His first memory of me was of me giving someone a row and mine of him was he was a nutter lol funny how things work out and how your opinions of people change the more you know them!

i met my other half in september 2008 on a dating site lol, we were only chatting for a few weeks before we decided to meet up,(not a love at first sight thing either) he took me and my 4 kids out for a meal which wasnt the best thing with my lot lol i thought he wouldnt be back again after it but he did and almost 2 years on we have a lovely wee daughter who is almost 9 weeks, ive met my perfect match as they say you have to kiss some frogs to find your prince charming lol

I met my husband on a dating site. I was not someone to go on there but I had just got out of a 4 year relationship in which I had lost all my friends. He sent a msg that said only one thing 'hi'. He didnt look like somebody I would usually be attracted to but I was curious so I wrote him back and we talked back and forth for awhile then added him to msn. We talked all that day and stayed up all night talking. I had this feeling like I knew him my whole life. It was so easy to talk to him. After that night we decided to meet. We met at a nearby baseball field and spent the whole day together. When he dropped me off at home, he asked me if I wanted to come to his house to watch a movie. Of course I said okay and went. After the movie, was over it was super late and I whined that I didnt want to go home cause I was to tired. He said sleep here so I did. I slept there every night after that. The rest is history. We moved in together after a year, even though we pretty much already lived together, had a baby after 2 years, had our 2nd after 3 and going on our 5 years together real soon! I loved him the moment I saw him and I love him more and more everyday.

I met my hubby where I used to work...ok here's the story...I used to be married before and the guy just left without warning when I was 8 months pregnant with our daughter. He took all my money so I obviously had to find a job to be able to provide for her. After a year of looking, I finally got a job at a shoe store. Not the best paying job but I was willing to take anything that paid. Anyways, I was a sales associate and he was a cashier. I don't know why, but I felt like I fell in love with him at first sight and he was the only person I felt comfortable talking to about almost anything. Me being very brave, I asked him out and before our first date I introduced him to my daughter. They became very close. 2 months later we got married and have been married for almost 2 years. We our also expecting a son in a couple months. I guess it was well worth being turned down for 50 jobs to finally get that one. Never would have met my husband otherwise.

I met my boyfriend in high school we had a class together and i was always the class clown he came in the middle of the school year and was always quiet and when i'd say jokes he'd look at me like i ws stupid. every1 in school thought he was this tough gangsta. I didnt like his at first cuz he thought he was all tough so one day we were in class and i finally made him laugh i guess from then one we started to get to kno eachother and we were frdz for a long time he had his grlz and well i had my "frdz' lol but as time passed we became closer and now is been 5 yrs since we met in HS and we have a beautiful baby boy and he is the most lovinf man I have ever been wit and we are now planning on getting married.

I met my boyfriend through a friend of mine who was dating his best friend when I was just turned 15. I spent the night at her house and she had her boyfriend bring his friend Matt (we snuck them in the house in the middle of the night) and we hit off and have been together ever since 6 years later. MIght I add everyone said we wouldnt make it a year...and here we are happier than we have ever been with a beautiful little girl. :]

My husband likes answering this question cause his responce all ways comes back to "you can get everything you need from pepboys... I even got my wife there!" I remember him walking in one day ( I was a cashier at the time so right by the door) and he comes strolling in with his black leather molded cowboy hat, black vest, tight jeans, boots and a shirt that say "My mama thinks Im special" He has one of those walks that you just HAVE to turn and watch him walk away. We talked everytime he and his buddies came in for parts and eventually he asked me to go play pool with him and his buddies. Now we are coming up on our 5 year in August and we have 3 beautiful kids and a love that has been tried and stayed true. Something I Never thought I could or would have.

I met my hubby while we were both in the Navy. We worked in the same squadron in Virginia. We were sent on a detachment to CA (where I am from) I had to work the early morning shift and he had to work the late night shift. I went to bed about 11pm. My roommate at the time was out partying with everyone because she worked late also. So my hubby asked my friend who her room mate was. She told him it was me and he said he had been wanting to meet me. So he comes barging in the room and throws the cover off me and tells me I am going to go out drinking with him and that was all there was to it! LOL I thought he was a dirtbag (horrible I know) but I decided to go out with him and drink anyways! It was a 2 week detachment, by the end I knew I wanted to get to know him better in a normal setting. So here we are 7 years later and 2 wonderful kids later!

We met at school 15 years ago and dated back then. It was for sure attraction at first sight for me. I'll never forget that long red hair of his walking down the corridor! We must have spent almost 2 years dating on and off almost losing our virginity to each other in the end. We split up just before exams and didn't speak again for a long time till he found me on Friends Reunited and said he wanted to apologise for some stuff. He apologised and we pieced together what had gone wrong between us - mostly gossipy friends spreading rumours!

From there it was coffee to see if this was just fond memories resurfacing or really something. It's 18 months later and we have a beautiful little girl to show for it. Add to that we are back together for good and stronger than ever before picking up where we left off with this unexpected second chance for first love :o)

I was the buss person and cleared tables so right when he went to the bathroom i rushed over and cleared stuff from the table and when his family and him were leaving he came up to me and handed me a business card he had designed in school (dont ask why he was carrying it around lol) but we went on a date the next day and now 3 yrs later we have our beautiful daughter :) congrats to you!!

I met mine at a bar also. It was at the restaurant I was working at with mutual friends and we were gathering to go out to another place and he walked in. I immediately liked him. At the other place we talked all night even though another friend bought me a drink. Little did we know that he and I went to the same HS. He was a Senior when I was a Freshman! It took us 3 months to have our first real date since he was living 2 hrs away and we were both going to school and working fulltime. He didn't want to tie me down. We were engaged in 18 months and married about 20 months later. We are coming up on our 16th anniversary next month and have 3 beautiful children. we were set up by a mutual friend. Initially we met in a bookstore-- imagine that but were fast friends from the begining and nearly glued to the hip when it became romantic. Well I met my husband online, but not on the usual dating sites. We met playing an online game. :) I was living at home in the US at the time and sort of seeing someone here in Australia and decided to come over on a vacation and see how things would work out in person. Turns out that they didn't work out so well but since I was here we decided to have a meet-up of a bunch of local people who all play the game together and are in the same guild. Another one of our game mates was over here in Perth from Sydney so we picked that weekend to hold our barbeque. It was Easter of '08.

The night before the bbq I was in game and my friend (my now husband!) mentioned that he was also in Perth but hadn't planned on coming to the bbq because he felt like he wasn't part of the regular gang, as he didn't talk much in chat with everyone, only to me really (we both played a lot at the same time, at night around 8 or 9pm when most everyone else was off for the night). When he told me he was here, I threatened him with violence (haha) if he didn't show up so he promised that he would.

The next day at the bbq I was having a great time putting a real life face to all the in-game names but Gauros (his character) was nowhere to be found and I was kind of bummed. I was inside getting some more food from the kitchen and then after about 5 minutes I heard this great booming laughter coming from outside and had to go out and see who it was. From the second I saw him, I knew he was it. It took me all of about 5 seconds of talking with him and seeing his cheeky grin and giggles (yeah....a 6'5" giggler! lol) to know that I wanted him forever. We spent the entire night talking and made plans to meet up the next day. We did and then I moved in with him in June. We went away together to Bali in late July and while we were there we decided to get married. We picked a time and decided to have the wedding in the states so that my family could be a part of it. I left on November 7, 2008. We got pregnant with our gorgeous little girl on November 6th....

It's funny how things work out, eh? I just love our story. I can't wait to tell it to our grandchildren! :)

I met my husband in a hospital.. I was his patient, he was my doctor. I had a clavicular fracture which I figured 3yrs back from a motorcycle accident. So, I was just there to have it checked just to be sure that my bones are already in the right places. He called me the day after and informed me about the progress thru my xray result. Then after that he texted me again -flirtatious-- and again and again. But I had a boyfriend at the time, so I didn't play around. Once during his calls, he asked me what my fave color was, he said he's out to buy me something, I said pink (not my fave) coz I thought he was just kidding.. But months past, my then bf and I called it quits.. I then thought of calling back that doctor - who eventually became my husband- and just asked how he was doing, and then few days later, we had coffee and then we formally dated. Then out of nowhere, while we were at the parking lot, he opened the trunk of his car and there he showed me a gift which was apparently stashed there for quite some time as shown on the scribbled date - well, that was the gift he was reffering to in one of our phone conversations several months ago. :-) and the rest is history..

Well i meet my partner on and online dating site! Started seeing eachother on 27th dec 2008 and we had a baby on 26th dec 2009. Samson was a suprise but we wanted him no matter what. I met my husband at our county 4H Fair! An aquaintance guy friend of mine introduced me to him (his best friend). Yep, at first sight I knew he was a keeper and his family had a great reputation of having raised 5 wonderful boys, he was number 3. They invited me to a party a couple of days later and thats when I knew right then that he was the one. We've talked about it before and it's a story that gets brought up a lot in our family. My husband said he knew I was the one too the night of the fair.

i met my husband at a job i use to work at. I was working night shift and so was he. I worked at a gas station, and he at a factory. On his way through, after he got off of work he would stop in for his normal few things. I was dating someoene at the time, and so was he. But we would just talk half the night and keep one another company, as i did my job, he'd stay there and just talk to me. Which was awesome. We knew nothing was coming of us talking other than a friendship, but then a few years after i had quit my job, i had seen his car at his workplace. I left a message on a small piece of paper, put it under his windshield whiper, and to this day, its in our house on our mirror! he saved it! And when we saw one another again, things just were amazing. we couldnt stay seperated, we were always talking no matter where we were. and I just loved his company and being around him. Finally we decided it was time for us to give a relationship a shot, and we're married, and have a beautiful 17 month old son, and another on the way! :) I love him soo much! I dont know where i'd be without him, he just whisped me off my feet! :)

The full story leading up to marriage: When I was about 16, I was home schooled and lived with my family in San Antonio, TX. After renting a house for several years, we were on our cousin's side of town, and my parents, out of the blue, decided to stop by the offices of a neighborhood that was being built to see if they qualified for a new house. By some freak chance, they did. Since it was in a better school district, my mum said we could attend the public high school if we liked. After attending for a few semesters, I happened to meet a boy. We started dating, and moved in together when we were both 18 years old. We were engaged, but I didn't marry him, thank goodness. He was raised in Arizona, so after 4 years of being together we moved to Phoenix. Four months later, I was finally sick enough of his verbal and emotional abuse to move in with my friend from work. She was very sympathetic, as her boyfriend at the time was just as anti-social and emotionally abusive as my ex. He skipped town a couple months after I moved into their apartment. Since we were now one income short, we moved out of the apartment, since the rent was insane. I stayed with another girl from work for about 1.5 months. Since it was after the peak season and we were getting less hours at Target, I started working as a server/bartender at the bowling right next to her townhouse. I met a couple guys in that time, and hung out with them, because I was bored and lonely. Our financial status improved, so my former roommate and I were able to move back in to the old apartment, then traded up for a nice condo a couple months later. I never worked on Thursdays during the Summer League, until one of the other girls called in, and I took over her shift, then started working every Thursday after that. My future husband happened to be bowling that season. Of course, he flirted with the waitress (me), and I flirted back. He asked for my number one night, but I made him wait until he was about to leave before I gave it to him. I thought he was cute, but not my type, and I wasn't looking to get into a serious relationship so soon after breaking up with my ex. He came over to my condo one day, and as I was giving him a quick tour, he noticed the poster on my roommate's door and knew the character. My jaw dropped. We talked for hours, and until then, I had no idea how many interests we shared. We started dating in July '08, and within a few months of getting serious, we were talking about marriage and how many kids we wanted. He officially proposed in December of the same year, and we got pregnant a few weeks later. As soon as my lease was up, I moved in with him. Our handsome little handful was born on October 1, '09, and we got married May 28, '10. Yay!

I had just got back from a Family Vacation in Pitts PA and EVERYONE waves there, my Father had re-landscaped while we were gone. They did not put sprinklers on the one patch of grass. It needed to be watered manually 2X's a day. Being a good daughter I watered the lawn and as people drove by I waved at EVERYONE!!! I remember when he was driving by his Smile and his eyes...I knew he was the one. He turned around and we exchanged phone numbers. We dated for a few years then he had to move away. We reconnected many years later of all places at the Animal Feed Store. We have been together ever since. If we had never parted we would have just celebrated our 25th Anniversary.

I came up to WA from Oregon, where I lived and attended college, to visit her over a weekend, and we met up with her BF and his friend was there (my future hubby). It was definitely lust at first sight for me, and as we got to know each other over that weekend, we exchanged phone numbers, I called him within the first 2 weeks, and by the end of the 2nd week, he rode the train down to visit me at school! Me and my husband met when I was a Junior in high school. He was going to a different school than me a couple of towns over. At the time I was working at a restaurant and it was pay day. As I was on my way to go pick up my check my bff called asked me to meet her at wal mart so I could hang out with her and some of our friends and couple of other people that I hadn't met yet. I met her on my way and there was a few people with her and my (now) husband sitting in the backseat of her car. He told me that he liked my car (1998 Mustang.. it was a sweet ride!) and he asked if he could drive it. I said no and left. At the time I was dating someone else and wouldn't even give my (now) husband the time of day. After I picked up my check I went out to my car and he had left me a note on my car with his name and number on it. I called my friend and I went to meet up with her at our friend Andrew's house. I talked to him for a while and thought he was cute and an all right guy. That night I broke up with my bf for cheating on me w/ my friend while he was at work (where I worked at too!!). So the next day I went to my friend Matt's graduation where Zack (my husband) was at. I sat with him and that night I let him drive my car and ever since then we've been inseperable. We broke up for a brief moment when he had to move out of town. But we quickly reunited when he moved back! I never thought he would be the one I would spend the rest of my life with!

There was something about him that kept me fascinated from the first instant, but i thought that it would never lead up to more because i lived in Belgium and he in Alaska. So about a half year after we started talking i flew to Alaska, everbody thought i was crazy flying halfway across the world for a guy that could be a psychopath for all they new...lol .I knew better and i have to say it was lust and love at first sight :), by the end of that year we were married and about 2 weeks after i found out that i was pregnant. After almost 2 years of flying back and forth we now have a beautiful 10 month old girl and hopefully my visa will be approved by the time time she turns 1. Then my LO and i will fly to Alaska and our family will never be seperated again.

I met my husband through a friend. We started to date a month after I broke up with my ex because, he was really abusive.It was love at first site for both of us. We both started out as friends before we went further. We have been married it will be a year on September 4th. We then gave birth to a baby boy who is now 9 months old.
