Where is the stay at home mom love?

In todays society, sometimes us stay at home moms do not get the full support and apperciation needed, some are even placed in a catergory of being lazy, when in actuallity, if your a good mom , with great motherly skills, and support your children , nuture and love them, that job is a little underated.
So where is the love?
There are some stay at home moms that do more in a day, considering the hours in a day, that some people can take two weeks to accomplish. So I am in all favor for stay at home moms, and we should not be belittled for choosing such an opportunity.

I don't let it bother me either. When my children are grown & go into society with good strong morals & confidence because I was home & took the time to raise them right then that will be my pay back to all the people who give me crap for not working or not "contributing" to society. Well we are contributing to society we are sending out loved children to put more love out into the world & make it a better place. I really really thing a lot of the flack we get is from jealousy of those who either chose not to, can't afford to, or just plain can't handle staying at home with their kids all day. We are strong important woman so keep your head up & never let any one put you down for what you know is right in your heart.

I agree Victoria that some people don't realize how hard we work as SAHM's. But...I don't care, I know that I am doing the best for my kids. I don't miss a moment with them. I don't worry about what other people think or say. I am the one smiling in the end. Sometimes people are just envious because they are unable to stay home with thier kids so they try to make us feel bad so they feel better about themselves. Does that make sense. Either way, I don't let that bother me.
