Which infant car seat is best rated and which worked well for you?

I have the Chicco Key Fit 30 and I find it does not give my baby a good posture. Also, she can easily spit up in it after burping her and all... I think it's the way she sits. My friend has the Orbit (which I cannot afford) but when baby is done eating and burping she is ok in her chair and no spit up...again cause I think she's well positioned in her car seat.

Please help!

Just because she's spitting up in the car seat may have nothing to do with the posture in the seat. Some babies just spit up a lot. My children all spit up no matter where they were sitting or lying and they also would spit up quit awhile after being burped. Sometimes it just came out at random times. Your friend's baby may just not be a spitter and it has nothing to do with the carseat. If you still think the carseat will make a difference talk to your pediatrician and see what he/she recommends.

I absolutely love the Britax Marathon. My daughter had GERD and we took her out of the stupid carrier and started using the Marathon and it kept her back straighter so she did not curl over her stomach. I now have 3 of them one for each of our cars and one for my parents to share.

I used the Graco snugride for both of mine and I never had any issues with either of them.
