They ask all these questions about pregnancy and everything else, but what if your on a step mom. Kinda hard to answer those questions. (I took the only out b/c it didn't sound right)

No you are not I am the step mom to a 13 year old boy and I just need a owner's manual maybe you can help me and hopefully I can help you. write anytime with suggestions and or plans of strategy for all of us lost step moms.

You are just as much of a Mom being a step Mom as you would be if you were a real Mom to biological children. I love my 3 step daughters as much as my own 3. I love them all the same and treat them that way too. I have a Mother Daughter relationship with them as well because I do this. Don't feel your not a Mother because you have the label of a STEPMOM!

I'm very excited about this! I also stopped answering one of the survey's because I felt left out because I couldn't answer many of the questions, since I'm not bio mom. I really like the questions so far...can't wait!

I guess sometimes I just don't feel like I have the right to claim to be REAL mom because we don't have them all the time and as my family likes to point out - I didn't give birth to them. Thanks for the encouaraging words.

Totally agree!!! At the end of the day you are just as much a mommy as a biological or adoptive mom!!

On the home page they have 20 questions about your pregnancy, when your children were born. What about questions about being a step mom. Like what age where they when you became part of thier lives, challenges, rewards, etc.

I agree... I became involved with my kids when they were 10 and 13 - so no pregnancy, first steps, etc. Now - let's talk about hormones and home work!!! lol

There is nothing "ONLY" about being a step-mom. You are still a mom, and that is ALWAYS important!!! What questions are you referring to?
