Are Bratz Dolls sending the wrong messages?

I feel that my 6 and 7 year old SDs should NOT be allowed to play with Bratz Dollz. I think they send the wrong message and are bad examples. I don't want them to grow up thinking they have to wear tiny skirts and a ton of make up to get attention from boys. (they learn enough of that from their bm). DH thinks it's ok because he says they are just dolls. Thoughts?

I don't let my girls play with them - I flat out tell my 7 SD that they are inappropriate and have nothing to offer -and tell grandparents etc that if they are given as gifts they will be returned. Barbie might not be the ideal physical dimensions but doesn't look like a Floozy. YUCK.

I agree, we don't allow Bratz in our house. It still bother me that the bratz babies wear thong underwear.

I agree with you, I didn't let my daughter play with them either.
