Hi everyone.
Just wanted to wish you Happy Mother's Day. I know some of you may not feel like the mom, but you are in a mothering/caregiving role and that's important.

I wrote a nice article about it, and I invite you to read it. It's called What Is A Mother?

Enjoy your day.

We all have those moments and it's OK. Thanks for sharing. My stepdaughter who will be a mom herself in 8 weeks is coming over to cook diner for us. She is so sweet. Amazing how things do get better with age ;0).

I got my Mother's Day gift early this year. While my family was picking up pizza we were talking about mothers day and telling SD all the things she can do for BM this weekend to honor her. Then DH told SD that he would help her do something for me too if she wanted. I asked SD, "I'm I like a mom for you too?" and she said "yes you are and I want to call you my mom all the time". She's too young for flattery so I know she really meant it. This makes everything I do for her 100% worth it!
I'm sure I'll be getting something tomorrow too but the only thing that would top that is seeing BM's name in the obituaries. Don't judge me.

Thanks Claudette! I will always remember my first Mother's Day. It was before any of my bio kids were born and my hubby and our daughter (my sd) went and got me a really nice watch (that I still wear every day) and our daughter made me a card. I was so touched and felt so loved - it was wonderful!

We are ALL moms, no matter if there is blood relation or not! :)
