We went to court for custody of SDs on February 20th. Judge told us we (our lawyers) had 2 weeks to send in a written closing argument and he would make his decision. It's March 28th now... how long are we going to have to wait?!? Anyone know?

That SUCKS. The court process should be so much quicker. I don't know what the issue is that keeps it so long and dragged out.

Yes, he doesn't know. My lawyer is from the county I live in, we had to go to court an hour away where my SDs live. In this county my lawyer says in usually doesn't take longer than a week... he can't believe the judge is taking this long. A friend of mine on Circle of Moms said her judge had 90 days to make a decision, but our judge never told us that, so I'm hoping it's not the case!

Sorry-not a clue. Did you try calling the lawyer and asking him/her?
