Just got some great news.....



My SD lives with us full time, as my hubby has sole custody. Her BM, who has a ton of problems, and has caused a LOT of pain, called us up and asked to DECREASE her visitation. It is actually quite sad, but it is so much better for my SD, and she is thrilled, that she gets to stay with us even longer. I just wanted all of the stepmoms out there, to stay positive! Everyone says that the kid will figure out, what kind of person their mom really is, on their own, and they are right! Make sure that your stepkids see you as nothing but a positive influence in their lives, and you will come out on top!

I these kids parents have those kinds of problems I really don't think I would wish them to know the truth about their parent ( how painful ) I think instead I would just wish them to find out how truly wonderful their step parent is so they can treat them with the respect and love that the step mom or step dad deserve

I do hope your right, my step son treats me like crap, talks back to me and doesn't do what I ask him to like pick up his cloths. He's 10 and he listens to his mum too much. She hates me and thats why he treats me like that. I have a 5 month old son to his dad, I try to give him as much attention as I do my own son. His mum blames me of her seperation to my partner and she tells him it's my fault why his dad doesn't live there anymore.



I really hope your right and they finally realise what their mums are like.
