Well, BM got served her papers (Finally) to appear in court in may for threatening my life, not once, but twice last year. I got my papers in the mail today. The date is set in May. And the other day she threatened to blow up my car, so I have alot of proof. Its all on writing and on facebook.
What will go on in court? Ive never been and am pretty nervous as to what will go on. Can I bring a witness?

I don't know what you can/cannot do in court, but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers! What day are you going to court? I keep a calendar of other women's court dates so I can be thinking of them extra on those days and I'd like to put you on there! :)

Hmmmmmmm. Tough stuff.

First of all, I'm sorry. NO ONE should have to go through that.

Second, the court process is different depending on where you live. I'd suggest calling the court house to see if you can get some answers or google to see if there's a free "get quick and easy advice".

I know here (Ontario), matters such as that usually never see a proper court room. The first appearance is usually for the offender to receive thier disclosure package and set a date for the next step. They're given an opportunity to speak to a crown attorney and find out their options, sometimes even entering into a deal right then and there.... But again, I don't know what the procedure is where you live.
