I am taking the spring semseter off from nursing school and am wondering if anyone out there had a hard time or an easy time going back after being away. I am worried that once Conner gets here I am not going to have the same motivation and drive that I did before he was born... What did you all go through after baby?

I'm in your boat too! :) I was pregnant with my son during the winter semester of my Nursing program and had him in June. I took off the Spring semester and am waiting to see if there is a spot open for me in the Fall. I worry about leaving my 7 month old too. It'll be hard, but I know that I am doing the right thing for my son and myself if something were to ever happen to my husband. We can do it! :) Stay strong! -Diane

really if you have the mind set to finsh up school then nothing is going to hold you back. I just graduated from hair school nd im want to get more degrees but if i have to go online to get them i will im due march 5th with my son nd i got family to help out nd my boyfriend but im the one that is determined to get these degrees nd i believe you are to

hi there! i'm currently studying nursing too. in my 2nd semester now, a 1st year student. i hv a 19mth old baby girl, azra.. i used to be an average student back in high school, with average grades... but ever since azra was born, she has motivated me to do better in my studies. the thought of wanting to provide the best for her has made me realised that i've to push myself harder in my studies.. thankfully, i scored quite well in my previous semester till my family n friends were quite surprised by my sudden improvements. u can do it too, babe. most importantly, u need a very strong support from ur family and always remember that what u r going through is for tbe better future esp.for ur little angel.. -june :)

Honostly I am worrying about that myself. I was supposed to go back this semester but our finances weren't agreeing, and my taxes were messed up so I couldn't recieve financial aid. Just keep in mind it will be best for you and your little one if you do go back.

I am about to go back to college after doing a year on-line so I could stay home with my son and it has motivated me more to complete and get a great career for my son. You will be able to stay motivated and do an awesome job!

i feel the same way i am going to school this semester but im only taking two classes cause im due march fourth i just hope i will be able to finish out this semester

You will, you will have more of a drive to get it done and over with and knowing that you are making a BETTER life for your son. Knowing that you weren't one of the many moms that give up
