I am a full time nursing student with a 15 month old at home. It is always a struggle to find a balance between being a successful student and wanting to be as active in his life as possible. I hate to miss the day to day stuff for him, but at the same time, what's the point of going to school if I am not going to do well?

Wow, I so feel your pain. I am a nursing student and single mom, and it kills me when my 4 yr old tells me to read her a book or play with her, and i have to tell her no so i can study and do homework. But hopefully, in a little over a yr, I will have my RN degree and will be able to have a more regular schedule for her, and you will soon too. Just hang in there and remember, you're doing this for him, and if you dont do well, hes going to miss out on some good stuff. Finding a balance is hard, but it wont be forever, then you'll have a regular work schedule and more time for him.
