Starting school in April.. And I have a 4 year old...

Well I'm Natasha, I'm 22 years old and I have finally decided to go back to school. I will be attending everest for the Paralegal program. I'm really excited about that. I have a 4 about to be 5 year old stepson who I care for 24/7. He is my stepson but he is mine, because I'm raising him. I had to pull him out of head start b/c he wasnt doing so well , he liked to fight too much. I try to show him alot of affection but he doesnt get along with kids at school. I'm worried when I start school he'll be mad at me, althought I'll be attending night school untill he starts school in august. How do I prepair him for me to start school. I have chosen night school so my husband will be home with him at night and they will get that bonding time that me and him have during the day. I know that Praying will help me. I am a christian and have been baptisted in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost for almost 3 years now. any suggestions on how to get him ready as well as myself for me to go back to school.. I really worrie bout him. he is my baby afterall..lol..Please help...any suggestions will be helpfull..

Thank you. He is on a daily schedule that is kinda what he was doing in school I just followed it when I took him out. but thank you I will deffintly that in mind..

It can be really hard when they get older my son just turned 5 in Jan. I was in school when he was born, and have recently gone back to school for my RN about a year ago. The best thing you can do is explain to them what you are doing and why you are doing it. He should be old enough to understand what that is. You can suggest to him that he also needs to prepare to start school too. You could try sometime during the day to work on school work to help him understand what school is and what you will be doing. My son, knows that I go to school two nights a weeks and waits for me to get home to say goodnight and tell me about his day. It will be a hard transition but remember this is something that you need to do for yourself to make your life and your families life better! Don't forget that
