But as a Mom/Wife/Student there is so much on my mind that I decide to take a break. Any suggested or thoughts on how thngs can get better? Thanks in advanced...

My son is almost a year old (next month) and I am a SAHM and full time student (online) I have found that if you go part-time (2 classes) that you still qualify for grants etc. and that still helps towards your degree and shows what you can really handle. Start out slow and then build up, Im now taking 5 classes, it just took a little bit to figure out how to organize my time. I still have to work on giving my husband time as well, being a wife is what I realized took a back burner in my life and thats not fair to our men. Expecially since mine works so hard for me to be a stay at home mom :) It doesnt have to be a juggling act, just start small and build up! You will find that even just taking two classes to start off with really does make you feel as if you are accomplishing something! And trust me you are! Before you know it you will have everything under control! Im a stay at home mom/wife/full time student/and the new organizer for Moore Playgroup for Babies & Toddlers :) You still have to have time for yourself, if you get overwhelmed nobody wins! :)))))

When you need a break, take a short one, rest, and re-focus on the goal. That way when your next class starts you'll be refreshed and you'll have that fire back that you need to keep the focus there. Right now I have 3 classes and one online, however I took January off because I just need to take a break, and really adjust to my daughter starting pre-k. Now school starts tomorrow and Im ready to finish my goal. When you get overwhelmed, it can reflect in your grades.

I am attending online classes as well as working mom and finance, So i know where you are coming from with it being stressful. But if you dont do it now and not put it off, you probally wont get it done. You just need to either get up early in the morning and get it done or put baby to bed a little bit earlier so you can have some quiet, focus time on your schooling. I am attending a career college and I cant withdrawl from my classes once i signed up for them. I can only tell you what my counsler gave me some advice to do..Think about it girl..

it is important to be well organized! It's impossible to make efficient use of your time if you're not organized.

Best of luck:)

I know it is hard to focus on school when you have so much going on in your life. I found that as long as I remember why I went back to school, I can get through anything. From October until January 15th I was working two jobs, going to school online, taking care of my husband, daughter and home. It is hard to do but I just kept telling myself that once I finished school I would be able to get a better job and give my daughter the things that I never had as a child. If you ever need to talk you can post to me.

I have been going part time for three semesters now. I tried to do 3 classes last semester and ended up dropping one... two classes is the perfect amount for me and everything else that falls into my plate. I do go to school with a government pell grant. This semester I'm taking one class on campus that has nothing to do with my major and is purely for me (which is a huge deal because I typically avoid doing anything for myself.. its always for someone else)! It's training to RUN a 5k, which I've been trying to do for a year now.. but I also get to boost my GPA (which isn't bad.. but every little bit helps!)

I haven't been this excited about school... well.. ever!

What do you have on your mind? I too am going to school...I have 4 kids and am pursuing a psychology degree through University of Phoenix. I also work, run my own business, and am working on getting my personal training certification. :) I have a lot on my plate, so what can I help you with?
