I'm a mother of two, and I was also a surrogate for a gay couple, twice. Has anyone else had babies for a gay couple?

I am interested in becoming a surrogate. I have 2 children of my own already but I would love to help out a couple that isn't able to have any. Honestly, I would be more likely to help a gay couple than I would to help a hetero couple. How do you go about starting the process?

I havent had babies for a gay couple, however I know quite a few women who have. how did your family react to your decision? were they open to it?

Ok so you were a traditional surrogacy.. Did you go through IVF, or AI.. If IVF, did they both contribute biologically?? It is fun....
I was a gestational surrogate so both families used a donor egg. But with both they chose one to biologically contribute. There are so many ways of going about it, especially with two daddies..

I supplied the egg. It was a very "different" way of doing a surrogacy, let me tell you. But so much fun.

Its very sweet when u think of it the children still get to know there back ground an even get to know they was a special child for the people who could not have one.
They get to have 2 familys in one.

It is especisally nice when you are able to be freinds with the family when all is said and done.. Were you a gestational or traditional surrogate?

I'm lucky because I work with the parents, so I see them all the time, and we even visit. The babies consider my kids their cousins. It's so awesome.

HI,
I have actually had three kiddos for two different sets of daddies. The first one is 3 1/2 and the other two a brother and sister are 2 and soon to be 1. I love what I have done and am so thrilled to have these families in my life. I just spent a few days with family number 1 in palm springs.. We make it a tradition to spend some vacation time together each year. It started the year I was pregnant and my son, is three months a couple weeks older than their daughter, I hope you have been able to maintain a relationship with the family. It is something I truley treasure.
