I am contemplating becoming a gestational surrogate for a dear friend. She lost her first born son at 4 days old last august and has been trying to conceive for 9 months to no avail even with fertility treatments. I have talked to my husband who is 100% supportive of this idea, I was just wondering what the logistics were. I know I will have to have a health screening and likely undergo some progesterone or estrogen injections as needed, but what else, how do things work in the hospital at delivery? What guidelines are there ect. please help =)

saint anthony central is amazing to surrogates. they treated my IP's like they had just had the babies. They were given a room and all the nurces were awesome to them. They were the ones that had the bracelets to get the babies from the nursery and everything. In fact I was not given a bracelet, which was ok with me as they were not my babies. My IP's were awesome though and let me see them and my daughter hold them. I recomend doing it for your friend. It will change your life and hers.
