I guess I should have read this post first befoe I asked you any questions, you already answered them.

Wow I had never heard of it happening like that before.  I was pregnant with triplets at first, but at 9 wks we lost a heartbeat.  I was sad, yet thankful.  After having the twins, I couldn't imagine carrying 3 of them.  Hats off to you!!!   That must have been so hard.  I was just happy I never had to go on bed rest and that we made it to 37 1/2 weeks!

My name is Jessica and I have been a surrogt twice. The first time in 2006 to twins boy and girl. The best delivery out of all my deliveries. I had a natural birth they were born in less than 15 minutes from the time I started pushing. It was such a great experience and easy pregnency and deliverie I started thinking about doing it again, so I did! I had to sort of talk my husband in to it but he seen that the first time wasn't so bad. I am a director of a preschool of nearly 200 hundred students so the first time lots of questions, etc. the second not so much. So 2008 I was pregnant with triplets! I thought what's one more, well I did not have it easy this time, I was on bed rest for two weeks when I was 10 weeks, I went into the hospital at 20 weeks and had my cervix sewn shut and did not get to leave the hospital until 30 weeks! Its was extremly hard on my children and husband. I was not to be on my feet at all and had to stay in bed. I was unable to use the shower (my hair dresser came once a wek, thank god) but i was determind to see this through knowing that this was a possibility. At 32 weeks I deliverd c-section two girls and a boy and the mother was also pregnant with their brother we did our transfers the same day (I was back up just incase her transfer didn't work!). She had her son 4 weeks later. They even named one of the babies after me. So ofcourse I would never do this again, so I said. A few weeks ago one of my nurses form when I had the twins called to ask if I would be a surrogate for her! I started thinking maybe one more time!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved both experiences and get photos form both families who are in Australia. I would never take it back and I have always had nothing but support!

I gave birth 3-days after Christmas to twin-boys, it doesn't seem to be an obvious discussion anymore.  I miss it.  It's like getting married...you plan, and plan and are so busy making sure of all the details for this perfect day, then it comes and its over before you know it.  The wonderful thing you've done is now forgotten, and you just have more stretch marks to show for it.  Maybe its still to fresh for me.  I miss it so much, I'm thinking about doing it again.

Did you recover well?  Natural or c-section?
