Hi Ladies :)



Welcome and glad you could join us. This group is only fairly new and has been designed by myself for people like us who have been or are still in abusive relationships to seek advice, meet new people and have a chat.



I am Shaz. I have just tyrned 26 years old. I have a 5.5 yr old daughter. I left my abusive ex in Nov 07 and the abuse continued until i got a restraining order on him in Dec 08. He does still try and control me but i have been seeing a wonderful guy since Dec 08 so the ex has backed off. He has also got himself a new gf.



Tell me about yourself. What's your situation? Do you have kids? I look forward to getting to know you.

Hello Karley,



My ex was abusive from the start but it gradually built up to sexual and physical abuse. I was with him on and off for 7.5 years. After i left it took a further almost 1.5 years till he stopped texting, calling, yelling, name-calling, stalking me on a daily basis.



How long have you been with your partner for? Have you talked to any of your friends about him? Abusers learn how to mask their abuse to fool other people.......and it works. Remember to stay strong.....I am here to talk to and want to help. Where are you from?

hello shaz my names karley im 20 with a 5 month old son and his father is starting to turn abusive but it happened slowly and i didnt notice it

hes controlling but he acts as if hes perfect so all my friends love him and he wont let me leave him even though i dont love him
