well i am pretty new to all of this but really want to be more involved. i have seen an empty lot down town with a sign that says community garden but no other information and nothing seems to have been done. just wondering if you all have any tips on how to get it going. i think this would be a great summer project for my kids to get involved in their community! any advice would be great!! thanks!

Not sure about where you live but most communities have an Extention office or Ag Dept or try locating a local 4H office.  Good luck and happy growing.
