I wish TX was more Green.

I feel that TX is horrible with recycling. It's hard to find facilites near-by and the only place I can take things to be recycled is Wal-Mart. I've been improving my green-living. I've switched stores to a great eco-friendy store that I love love love the products and know they're not dangerous like johnson and johnson, aveeno, and so on and buy my food at the Natural Grocery food store. Still, it would be great if TX was more like up north when it comes to recycling!!

I live in Texas and we are so behind the times when it comes to being "green". I keep hoping for more changes in this area!

I'm up north (Idaho) and it's not "green" here either. I keep working at with the locals. I have lived in San Francisco, Seattle, Italy and England. Idaho has been an un-culture shock.

I know this an old post, but We are from up north, too. I feel the same way. Not very "green" options down here
